How to log in

To be able to use all of our services you need to be registered. More on registration.

We recommend you to change your registration number as soon as possible after logging in to the catalogue > section profile > Change nickname.

As of September 2010 we have been using new library cards which enable you to print and copy using self-service copy machines. Library cards issued prior to this date are still valid. Upon request, we will replace your card immediately free of charge or upon renewal of your registration.

Whats my login if...

I have a new library card (Registered after September 2010)

• Login – number printed on your library card including leading zeros
• Password – if you do not know your password follow the instructions below.

I have got my own card (ISIC, InCard...) 

• Registered after September 2010
  • Login using the number you were given at registration, we recommend you change this number as soon as possible after logging in to the catalogue > section profile > Change nickname
  • Password – if you do not know your password follow the instructions below.
• Registered prior to September 2010 (please register anew, you will be given new login data)
  • Login
    • MZLU  students enter the identification number printed on their ISIC card
    • MU students enter the number printed below the bar code without spaces and the first three digits – e.g. S566216430.
  • Password – if you do not know your password follow the instructions below.

I have an original MZK library card

• Login – enter the number printed below the bar code
• Password – if you do not know your password  follow the instructions below.

I do not know my login data (reader‘s barcode/login)

• At vufind.mzk.cz, click on “Login” and Card number recoveryand follow the instructions.

I do not know my password (PIN/password)

• At vufind.mzk.cz click on “Login” and Password recoveryand follow the instructions.
